Content provided by us on this website is owned or controlled by us and is protected by copyright laws in Australia and overseas.  You may only use the content for your own personal purposes, and may not otherwise use, copy, reproduce, modify or transmit the content without our prior written consent in each case.

UWM uses reasonable endeavours to ensure that the information that UWM has provided on this website is accurate and up-to-date.  However, UWM cannot guarantee the accuracy, currency or completeness of the information provided and we accept no responsibility for any errors in the content at any time.  We also do not guarantee that use of our website will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that materials accessible on or through the website will be free from errors, viruses, worms or other harmful codes or material.  To the extent permitted by law, all liability is excluded for any loss (including indirect or consequential loss), damages or injury resulting from and/or arising in connection with your access to (or inability to access) or use of this website, or as a consequence of any content or information obtained from or through this website.

This website may include trademarks and design marks which are protected by law. You may not use our trademarks or design marks in Australia or internationally without our prior written consent in each case, except to legitimately identify our products or services.

2. Content provided by you (we’ll call you “Fans”)

When you post a comment on any UWM blog, your selected user name may also be published.  Use of any UWM blog is subject to any UWM’s Blog Guidelines in place from time to time.

The comments and content contributed by users of this website does not necessarily reflect UWM’s views.  While we use reasonable efforts to make sure such content is appropriate, we are not responsible or liable for the conduct of others.  There are some bad people out there…and even good people can sometimes do foolish things…

4. Online booking

By completing any online booking form for any UWM event, you agree to the following:

a) UWM reserves the right to cancel or postpone any event booking for any reason.

b) UWM is not responsible for any incomplete, incorrectly submitted, or corrupted bookings, whether due to error, omission, tampering, technical failure or any cause beyond UWM’s control.

c) UWM reserves the right to refuse entry or evict a person who is behaving in a disorderly, offensive or inappropriate manner from any UWM event.

UWM, Chiron Global Pty Ltd and its employees, agents and contractors may collect, use and pass to third parties, your personal information so that UWM, its employees, agents and contractors may contact you (including, by the way of telephone, email, SMS and MMS) and provide you with information about UWM events and related promotional activities.  Any personal information collected by or on behalf of UWM through your completion of this form will be dealt with in accordance with UWM’sTM Privacy Protection Policy.  You can access all the personal information that you provide by contacting UWM on [email protected].

5. Third party sites

From time to time, this website may contain links or references to third party sites.  We are not responsible or liable for the content of those sites and your access to and use of those sites is entirely at your own risk.  Any links are provided for convenience only, and do not indicate any endorsement or recommendation by us.

6. Misusing UWM’s website

You agree to only use this website in accordance with its terms and applicable laws.  You may be held personally liable for any unlawful use of this website.  If you think any content on this website is inappropriate or unlawful or infringes your rights, please contact us.

7. Governing law – the other rules of engagement

The terms of this website will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in force in New South Wales, Australia, and you unconditionally submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.  Although Australian websites may be accessed outside of Australia, we make no representation that the content complies with the laws of any other country.  If you access this website from outside Australia, you are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with your local laws and for any reliance on our website content

Gladiator Terms and Conditions

By submitting a valid application form you will be granted UWM Gladiator membership subject to the following terms and conditions:

All membership prices advertised on this website online are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

The prices advertised on this website exclude all applicable credit card transaction fees. Members paying in full will have the credit card transaction fees added to the total cost of the membership. For members paying in full the fees for VISA, Mastercard and AMEX will be charged at 1.95%.

Members may only join or renew online, but as a condition of their membership, all members agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of UWM’s Gladiator Membership programme.

All applications for memberships will be charged when the application is received.

Memberships are annual commencing on the purchase date.

Paying by Installments:

Not currently available. When available, terms and conditions will apply.

Payments made by credit card:

Credit card payments will be taken at the time the membership application is received, as per the timetable specified in the Frequently Asked Questions. Please note that charges will not always appear on your statement as ‘UWM’ or ‘UWM Gladiator Memberships’.

Dishonoured Credit Card Payments:

If a credit card payment is declined by your bank you may be contacted for an alternate credit card. If any payment method is unsuccessful your order may be removed and your membership order may be cancelled.

Cancellation of a Membership Order:

Membership cancellations will incur a $50 cancellation administration fee, which will be deducted from any pro-rata refund available.

Standard payment Terms and Conditions:

All members paying in full are bound by UWM’s standard payment Terms and Conditions.

“Gladiator Allegiance” Status:

When you become a Gladiator member, the date you joined is recorded against your account as your “Gladiator Allegiance” status. Please note: when UWM allocates tickets or other benefits including limited offers or upgrades your “Gladiator Allegiance” status will be taken into account. Only consecutive years of membership are counted unless a member is granted ‘Special Dispensation’. Long-term members will be allocated ticket offers prior to new members based on their “Gladiator Allegiance” status.

Membership Classification and Age Restrictions:

Transferring of Tickets:

If for any reason you are not able to attend a UWM event, you may give your ticket or pass to a friend or relative to use. However, members should be aware that there is legislation in some jurisdictions relating to the re-sale of tickets including without limitation for certain venues, and breach of these laws may attract civil or criminal penalties. Please also be aware that the transferral of a membership is subject to the membership classification and this cannot be upgraded to gain entry to an individual event.

Ticket Reselling:

Re-selling of event tickets may result in the ticket being cancelled (and civil or criminal charges may apply if tickets are re-sold depending on the jurisdiction). Members are advised to refer to the specific event ticket conditions of sale.

Updating Personal Details:

All members must take responsibility for updating all personal details so that UWM can communicate with them effectively. UWM holds no responsibility for a member’s failure to update their personal details. To update your personal details please email: [email protected].

The 10% discount at UWM’s online store (as soon as it is developed) will be available to members only upon presentation of their membership number and current valid email address. This offer can only be used to purchase full-priced merchandise and is not redeemable for cash. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and is not available on discounted stock.

If international postage is required the cost of postage may be added to the membership.

UWM reserves the right to suspend/cancel a membership of any member who behaves in a manner that is deemed by UWM to be inappropriate. Please be respectful of those around you at any UWM events, and immediately report anything you deem to be inappropriate to event management staff. UWM has the right to decide what is inappropriate conduct in its sole and unfettered discretion. The member has no right to object to or appeal against any decision by UWM to suspend or cancel a membership as a consequence of the member acting in a manner UWM considers is inappropriate.

All members are expected to uphold UWM’s Code of Conduct found on UWM’s website and failure to comply can result in an immediate suspension or cancellation of the membership. If a member breaches the UWM Code of Conduct or otherwise engages in conduct deemed by UWM inappropriate or unbecoming as a UWM Gladiator member, UWM reserves the right unconditionally to suspend or cancel the membership in which case the member forfeits their membership rights and will not be entitled to a refund of their membership fees including for any unused portion of your membership entitlements.

UWM reserves the right to refuse an application for membership.

If any unforeseen circumstances impact on UWM’s ability to deliver on its representations in the membership offer UWM will not be held liable.

Any user of the member’s membership rights is also bound by the Terms and Conditions of the membership, and the member is obliged to inform such persons of these terms and conditions.

As a UWM member you have the opportunity to be provided with promotional offers from our sponsors. You consent to UWM providing personal information you have provided to UWM (excluding any details related to methods of payment) to our sponsors for the purpose of our sponsors providing you with details of offers that may be of interest to you. However, if you would prefer not to receive such marketing/promotional material please email us on [email protected] to have your details removed from all future marketing and promotional databases. The products and services offered in any sponsor promotional material are not offered by UWM. UWM does not accept liability for any product or service referred to in such material, and to the widest extent possible at law excludes all liability with respect to these products and services.

Your privacy is important to UWM and we have procedures in place to ensure that your information remains confidential. We are mindful that your personal details are private and as such we will only disclose your information in accordance with relevant legislation. Any information we disclose about a membership account can only be with a primary account holder. If a secondary account holder wants to become a primary account holder we must receive written confirmation from the primary account holder to release them. You may access your private information held on our database by contacting us by email on [email protected]. You have the right at any time to refuse to receive marketing material. All memberships are subject to the terms of entry of any event location and the terms of ticket sale.

UWM reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions as may be reasonably necessary from time-to-time.

UWM does not warrant that every request for membership, ticketing, and/or seating allocation can or will be complied with.
